I am a plant and soil ecologist with a strong taste for statistical analysis and data science and familiar with bioinformatics. After 12 years working on R&D projects at the Public Sector (CSIC and Universidad de Granada), I spent 7 years working on diverse biotechnology developments for the Oil & Energy industry at Repsol. During nearly 3 years I worked at the Repsol Risk Division enlarging my statistical and modelling knowledge on applied projects mostly focused on financial risk modeling. On October 2022 I joined the Environmental Development team at the Sustainability Division as a Senior biodiversity Analyst.
I loved science communication and teaching, in such way I have participated as a teacher on a Repsol internal project focused on “democratize” statistics (i.e. making statistics and data analysis accessible to the general public), but also in Masters.
